Wesleyan University Faculty Art Exhibition Website
For the first time in a decade, the faculty members of the Wesleyan University Art Department displayed their work in a Faculty Art Exhibition in Zilkha Gallery on the campus of Wesleyan University. In lieu of a printed catalog, it was decided to build a companion website for the exhibition to provide broader reach and minimize costs.
I coordinated the gathering of digital assets and worked with each artist individually to finalize his/her presence in the online catalog. This website has a splash page component with a sample piece of artwork for each contributer as well as relevant information about the times, dates, and theme of the show. The rest of the site uses dynamic information from two databases for the biographical information and for the artwork.
My Role
Lead designer, project manager, Flash animation, CSS and HTML, worked with a database expert to load the dynamic components.
