“At a time when most visual art wavers between doctrine and decoration, Ryan has created a body of work which is not only aesthetically compelling, but also simultaneously modern or topical, yet charged with historic significance.”

Wesleyan University 175th Anniversary
The 2005-06 academic year marked the 175th anniversay of Wesleyan University, located in Middletown, CT. I designed the logo that served to mark the occasion on everything from the University's homepage, to banners on two prominent buildings on campus, to a knitted quilt presented to guest speaker Bradley Whitford, class of 1981.
I also worked on a team of designers who developed the window cling exhibition of historical University milestones (5th thumbnail), which received high praise and accolades during Homecoming/Family Weekend.
The online component of the terquasquicentennial year was a fully-developed website with interactive features, blog posts, a sandwich-naming contest and more.
